FIX: Object expected on lookup > 20 items (SP2010)

Jan 19, 2011 at 1:04 PM

Spent a while scratching my head on this one, if you include SPFF using a call like:

$(document).ready(function () {
    $.spff({ lock: true });
});

then it wont work correctly. As SPFF calls functions that exist in core.js and as core.js is loaded itself via script document.ready will be executed before core.js has been loaded.

To correct this add it in like:

function customLoadEvent()
{
	$.spff({ lock: true });
}
_spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames.push("customLoadEvent");

Thank you greap I am sure this will help :)

Just to confirm, spff works with SP 2010, right? as there are a few comments from users on this forum that proclaim that it does not ( for them )

I no longer work with SharePoint, so I was never able to test spff with 2010.  My guess is, since this code is tightly coupled with SP2007's DOM structure and existing code, that some modifications are needed.
