Calling function from script

Is it possible to call the populate or hide function frrom javascript fucntions.

As in bind it to an event handler of drop down and on click/ change event call hide or populate existing values. I assume it should be simple instead of query string assign paramter directly. For now i think I can reload the current url on drop down click event with modified paramters to get it the scrip[t to work

The way spff works is the "hide" portion of the script is not a separate function and not public.  The "job" is assigned and then processed by a big switch statement ready to run jobs.  However, if you write a function that appends data to the url, you can call $.spff() again to parse the query string and manipulate the form.

I have uploaded a patch  (its not the most elegant but it works)

1: Hiding + setting value fix: 2 separate functions and arrays for handling hiding and setting values.
* 2: Provides ability to directly set or hide field/values from Javascript
e.g: $.spff({field:'Body',value:'Hello',lock:true}

); will set value for field body.
you can use this on change event of drop down or specific values entered
